About The Event
Stress creates a range of unpleasant emotions. Our friendly and accepting relationships with self and others can protect us from the potential harm that chronic stress can create. With a skillful relationship with self and others we can discover and cultivate resources to reduce the destructive consequences of stress. This can transform how we manage stressful events and support a shift from a mindset of threat to challenge. This shift can enhance health of mind and body in both self and others. With deliberate practice we can strengthen healthy habits of mind, body, and behavior that can be there for us even in times of high stress when conscious willful processes are not always strong.
The virtual MC-CBT training was designed for highly stressed people and integrates Relational Mindfulness into traditional MBCT / MBSR to support development of habits of mind, body and behavior into everyday life. Module 1 is freely offered and required to register for additional modules. Additional modules 2 - 4 occur virtually on November 21 & December 5 & 12 of 2021 for a one-time fee of $150.00. TO REGISTER for freely offered module 1 visit Upcoming Events and then META program or email chris@molnarpsychology.com or call 267-287-8347. Those qualified to attend remaining modules will receive registration information after Module 1 meeting.
