About The Event
Stress creates a range of unpleasant emotions. Our friendly and accepting relationships with self and others can protect us from the potential harm that chronic stress can create. In friendly relationship with self and others we can discover and cultivate resources to reduce the destructive consequences of stress. We can transform how we manage stressful events and shift from a mindset of threat to challenge. This shift can enhance health of mind and body in both self and others. With deliberate practice we can strengthen healthy habits of mind, body, and behavior that can be there for us even in times of high stress when conscious willful processes are not always strong.
This virtual training was designed for highly stressed people and integrates Relational Mindfulness into traditional MBCT / MBSR to support us in bringing new habits of mind, body and behavior into everyday living. Option for MBCT extension meetings in May & June available. More about trainings at required & no-cost orientation.
