Mindfully Surfing Stress Workshop
Ocean waves can teach us to trust & respond to actual experience, rather than our thoughts about it.
META's SURF THE WAVES OF STRESS program is grounded in the latest science about habit change & wellness. It has in-person & on-line components & you also receive 20 mindfulness practice audios and a workbook to support application of mindfulness in everyday life.
Both mindfulness practice & water sports can teach us focus, balance & enhance health of mind & body. Even if you know how to surf, this is an opportunity to apply the wisdom of mindfulness to surfing, managing stress skillfully, & living with balance. What we learn through surfing & other water sports has the potential to teach us to ride the waves of stress to a life we actually want to be living.
1. In-person mindfulness training for adults & mature teens: September, 2017
2. Optional post-event meet-up on-line will be coordinated by email after the training & optional surfing experiences
3. Guided practice audios & lessons will be made available for download to sustain mindful living after completion of in-person training
